Ram, a Democrat from Burlington, was the youngest legislator in Vermont and the nation when she was elected in 2008 at the age of 23. She has served as the clerk of the General, Housing, and Military Affairs Committee and also serves on the Joint Legislative Technology Committee. As of March 1st she will also be a member of the UVM Board of Trustees.
